Mayrhofen is part of the extensive Zillertal ski area. It is located between the Penken and Horberg mountains. Although Mayrhofen has the most red slopes, you will also find more difficult black slopes here. The area even boasts the steepest groomed slope in Austria. The resorts are also suitable for beginner skiers, who will find a selection of easier slopes here.
The area offers 40 km of blue, 69 km of red, and 33 km of black slopes.
There are 9 cable cars, 17 chairlifts, and 18 ski lifts for transportation.
