Additional information

  • Program and hotel changes reserved. The minimum number of participants required for the trip to take place is 15 people. INFORMATION: On January 15, 2025, the Vietnamese government approved visa-free travel for Czech citizens from March 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, who will travel to Vietnam as part of tours organized by international travel service providers in Vietnam for tourism purposes. Visa-free travel will be allowed for a maximum stay of up to 45 days. Czech tourists must prove eligibility for visa-free entry by presenting a confirmation of the purchased tour, issued by the Vietnamese travel agency or organizer, which must also be listed on this website: https://2025.vietnam.travel Vietnam - sample confirmation (PDF, 36 KB). To enter Vietnam, two documents are required – a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after return) and a tourist e-visa. Visas are usually issued for one or multiple entries with a stay of up to 90 days. You can apply for a visa at https://www.mzv.cz/jnp/cz/encyklopedie_statu/asie/vietnam/cestovani/visa.html. The electronic application requires uploading a photo and a copy of the applicant’s passport data page. Visa fees must be paid during the application process. According to Vietnamese authorities, visa decisions are made within three working days. We recommend travelers not to leave visa applications to the last minute, as processing can take 5 to 7 working days. After successful registration and payment, the applicant receives an access code to print the visa. Clients must arrange their Vietnamese (e-visa) themselves. ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommended pocket money is about 100 USD in smaller bills. Local currency can be withdrawn from ATMs. The official currency is the Vietnamese dong (VND). 1 CZK = approx. 1000 VND. Since tipping is an unspoken custom in Asian countries, we recommend asking for smaller bills or coins. Some places charge fees for photography and video recording. There are no mandatory vaccinations for Vietnam, but some are recommended (consult your doctor considering age and health or a hygiene station) – tetanus, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis A + B.
