Citizens who have traveled to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Somalia since March 2011, and to Cuba after 12.01.2021, cannot apply for ESTA registration and must apply for a tourist visa. As of 12.5.2023, the requirement to be vaccinated against COVID-19 is canceled. A negative test is still recommended, but not mandatory. Separate beds in the hotel for an additional fee, upon request.
