day 1
In the early morning or late morning hours, we will take a České dráhy train from the Czech Republic directly to the heart of Poland – the capital city of Warsaw. This metropolis, located in historic Mazovia, is a fascinating blend of ancient landmarks and modern architecture. Its Old Town, carefully restored after the war, is rightfully listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, while the new part of the city shines with modern skyscrapers and a vibrant atmosphere. Around 14:25, we will arrive at Warsaw station, where a Czech-speaking guide will welcome us right on the platform. Together, we will transfer to a comfortable three-star hotel in an excellent location, where we will check in. After a short rest, we will have our first introduction to Warsaw – a guided tour of the historic center awaits us. Before we start exploring the streets of the Old Town, we will refresh ourselves with a typical Polish snack (included in the tour price). Then we will stroll past the majestic Royal Castle, the elegant Krasinski Palace, the modern buildings of the Supreme Court, and the moving Warsaw Uprising memorial from 1944. We will also visit the Praga district – a place with a unique atmosphere that, as one of the few, remained almost undamaged during the war. Here, we will also visit the famous Różycki Bazaar – one of the oldest markets in the city.
day 2
After breakfast, it's time for independent exploration or optional activities. We recommend, for example, a treat for music lovers – a Chopin concert, which you can add on as an extra service. Culture enthusiasts shouldn't miss the Polish Vodka Museum, where you'll learn all about the 500-year history of this national specialty, including displays of old labels and an interactive lab. And of course, there's a tasting! For a stunning view of the city, head up to the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, where you'll enjoy an amazing panoramic view of all Warsaw. Thanks to the hotel's convenient location, we suggest visiting the Night Market in the evening or stepping back in time at the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Tip: For just 5 EUR, you can enjoy a 75-minute ride on a historic tram from the 1940s–1950s – an authentic experience that will transport you back in time!
day 3
After breakfast, you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy Warsaw your way – you can head back out into the streets, grab a coffee, or treat yourself to some retail therapy at the popular Złote Tarasy shopping center. Don’t forget to try local delicacies – like the crispy zapiekanka, the Polish take on a baguette with various toppings, or one of the refreshing craft beers. Around 1:30 PM, we’ll say goodbye to Warsaw and take the train back to the Czech Republic, full of new experiences and memories.
