day 2

gdańsk

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have an approximately four-hour city tour with a Czech-speaking guide, during which you will discover the charm of Gdańsk's historic center, which attracts millions of visitors every year. Our journey will begin with a walk along the famous Long Street, where we will find one of the most beautiful European markets, surrounded by stunning Renaissance buildings. We will walk from the Golden Gate, past the Town Hall, Neptune's Fountain, and Arthur's Court, to the Green Gate overlooking the Motława River. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the Arthur's Court museum and stop by one of the local amber workshops, where you will learn interesting facts about this precious stone. We will conclude the tour at the Old Crane, one of the city's most famous symbols, and finally visit St. Mary's Church – the largest brick Gothic church in Europe.

The afternoon is free for relaxation or independent exploration of the city. For those interested, we offer an optional evening activity – a romantic sunset cruise on the Motława River to Westerplatte and back (80 minutes). Set off on an attractive cruise around the Gdańsk shipyard, Westerplatte, and the Gdańsk Bay. The Galeon Lew looks like a vessel from the 17th century sailing under the Polish flag. During the cruise, your guide will introduce you in Polish, German, and English to the history and sights of Gdańsk, the shipyard, and Westerplatte.

day 3

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off on a full-day trip to one of the most significant medieval monuments in Poland – Malbork Castle. This six-hour excursion will take us to the former main residence of the Order of the Teutonic Knights in Eastern Europe. You can look forward to an audio-guided visit to the largest brick Gothic castle in the world, which is rightly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. During the tour, you will not only admire the impressive architecture but also get a glimpse into the daily life of medieval knights.
