Departure from Prague with a transfer to Cancún, then transfer to a hotel in the center of Playa del Carmen. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to the Mayan kingdom of Cobá, home to the tallest Mayan temple in Mexico, the 42-meter-high Nohoch Mul. Afterwards, transfer and afternoon arrival in Campeche (the city center is on the UNESCO World Heritage list), a tour of the historic city center, and an evening dedicated to the Día de Muertos celebrations. Then continue to Uxmal (UNESCO) for a tour of the archaeological site, one of the most important centers of the Mayan civilization, featuring many fascinating buildings: the Governor's Palace, the Magician's Pyramid, the South Palace, the House of the Turtles, the Palace of the Lieutenant Governor, and the Nunnery, considered the most perfect example of the so-called Puuc style with richly decorated facades. After the tour, there is an optional visit to “Choco Story” – a museum and tropical garden showcasing the history of cacao cultivation and a demonstration of chocolate production, the traditional Mayan drink. Our first stop will be Izamal, known as the 'Ciudad Amarilla' – the Yellow City, named for its uniformly ochre-painted facades that give it a unique character. We will stroll through the historic center with its colonial arcades and the Convent of St. Anthony of Padua, built on the foundations of a Mayan pyramid. We will also visit the nearby archaeological site, which highlights Izamal's importance in the pre-Hispanic period. Optionally, you can visit the stylish Selva Maya hacienda, where you can enjoy swimming in a natural cenote and savor a traditional Yucatecan lunch in a rural setting (entrance and lunch not included). Afterwards, we will transfer to Valladolid, another picturesque colonial town from the 16th century that has preserved the original atmosphere of Spanish colonial settlement. We will walk through its peaceful streets, visit the main square, and the historic center with its beautiful cathedral. In the late afternoon, we will return to Playa del Carmen, where we will check into a hotel near the beach. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or a walk along the Caribbean Sea.
