Departure from Prague to Venice. Transfer from the airport, city tour of a place rightfully called 'unique.' Hundreds of palaces line the Canale Grande with the famous Ponte di Rialto bridge, the monumental Baroque church and city landmark Santa Maria della Salute standing on a million wooden piles, the unique St. Mark's Square with the Campanile, St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace with the Bridge of Sighs, the astronomical clock, and other treasures. Time permitting, optional gondola rides through the canals, free time for individual sightseeing or taking photos as a memento of this unique city on the lagoon. After breakfast, tour of Verona, a city linked to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, whose center preserves many charming Roman and Renaissance monuments. The city's highlight is the Arena, the third largest amphitheater in the world, the impressive Castelvecchio castle, Piazza dei Signori with the statue of Dante Alighieri and several palaces, Piazza delle Erbe, a square lined with palaces featuring picturesque architecture and cafés, the church of Santa Maria Antica with elaborate Scaliger tombs, rulers of Verona, the church of San Zeno Maggiore, and last but not least, the Juliet's House with the balcony. Siena, often overlooked in the shadow of the famous Florence, is known as a historic cultural city with one of the oldest universities in the world and a well-preserved medieval architectural heritage, which has earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The main sights include the Palazzo Pubblico, or town hall, the Torre del Mangia, which rewards you with a stunning view after climbing 332 steps. The main square, Piazza del Campo, shaped like a shell, is also the venue for the annual horse race called the Palio, where riders from the city's various districts compete on horseback without saddles. The main attraction, however, is the Santa Maria Assunta cathedral, also known as Il Duomo, one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic buildings in Italy. Departure to accommodation near Rome.
