Flight from Prague to Rome, transfer to a hotel in the city center, check-in.
In the afternoon, a guided walk with a Czech-speaking guide for your first introduction to the city, free time, return to accommodation.
day 2
tour from the colosseum to the sistine chapel
After breakfast, Rome ‘ancient’ and ‘baroque’ – walking city tour with a local guide – depending on time, you will visit the most famous landmarks, Piazza di Spagna and the famous Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, or the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Capitoline Hill.
In the afternoon, papal Rome - Vatican, the smallest state in the world with its own post office, magazines and newspapers, radio station, train station, flag, and the papal guard made up of Swiss Guards, globally famous St. Peter's Square with its semicircular colonnades and an Egyptian obelisk in the center, above the square towers the most famous Christian sanctuary, St. Peter's Basilica, dedicated to the Apostle Peter, the first bishop of Rome. Optionally, you can visit the Castel Sant'Angelo individually, or we can arrange optional tickets for the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, including priority entrance reservation.
Free time for individual activities – visiting museums and galleries, shopping, relaxing, or strolling through the city, accommodation.
day 3
morning in tivoli, afternoon in ancient rome
After breakfast, free time or an optional half-day trip to Villa d'Este in Tivoli – a unique villa built in the Renaissance style, representing one of the finest examples of Italian classical and garden architecture. In 2002, the building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. The trip price includes bus transportation and the accompaniment of a Czech guide with commentary on the bus (entrance fee approx. €15 not included). In the afternoon, the program features Ancient Rome, a walk from the Colosseum along Via dei Fori Imperiali to the Capitoline Hill, or for clients, we can optionally arrange tickets to the Colosseum – the largest amphitheater of the Roman Empire. The ticket price includes priority entry not only to the Colosseum but also to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. Return to the hotel, accommodation.
day 4
flight back to prague – arrivederci, roma!
According to the flight schedule, check-out from the hotel, transfer to the airport, and flight to Prague.

PLEASE NOTE, ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, entry to most monuments and museums is FREE, so tickets cannot be purchased in advance for these dates; clients can visit the Colosseum on their own for free – this applies only to departures from Friday to Monday.
From the winter season, when flight schedules change and the stay in Rome is from Thursday to Sunday, tickets will again be purchased for all dates.
We recommend purchasing all optional services through your travel agency. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to arrange and settle payment for these services on site with the tour guide. If you do make a purchase, always ask for a receipt.

This will help you avoid any unpleasantness at the entrance.
The tour is physically demanding and is not recommended for clients with limited mobility.
