Join us on a train journey to discover the vibrant city of Berlin! Experience the best the German capital has to offer during an extended weekend. Admire iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the remnants of the Berlin Wall covered in famous graffiti at the East Side Gallery. Stroll along Unter den Linden boulevard, soak up the atmosphere of lively neighborhoods like Kreuzberg and Mitte, and sample typical German treats such as currywurst, pretzels, and traditional apple strudel. With an experienced guide, you'll explore Berlin's most fascinating spots, then enjoy the rest of the weekend at your own pace—whether that means visiting museums on Museum Island, relaxing in parks like Tiergarten, or spending the evening in local beer gardens. The trip price includes accommodation in a 3-star hotel with breakfast and a 2-day public transport ticket, making it easy to get around the city.
day 1
Around 6:28, we depart from Prague's main train station heading to Berlin on a comfortable, modern train operated by České dráhy. Upon arrival, our Czech-speaking guide will welcome us right on the platform, and together we'll take public transport to the hotel. We'll check in (or at least store our luggage in a secure, lockable room) and then set out to explore the beauty of the German capital. A walking tour of Berlin awaits us, full of famous and lesser-known spots. We'll see the iconic Brandenburg Gate, the impressive Reichstag building, the famous TV Tower, the historic Museum Island, and the rebuilt Berlin Palace. We won't miss 'Checkpoint Charlie,' one of the most powerful reminders of divided Berlin during the Cold War. And since Berlin is not just about major landmarks, our guide will also lead us to charming corners, mysterious courtyards, romantic passages, and hidden arcades—places you'd hardly discover on your own. A day full of discovery, fascinating sights, and the vibrant atmosphere of one of Europe's liveliest cities awaits us!
day 2
The day starts with breakfast at the hotel, and then the program is up to you – you can plan your day as you like and, for example, take a trip to the picturesque Potsdam! Thanks to the ticket valid for zones A, B, and C (included in the trip price), you can easily get there by public transport. In Potsdam, you’ll be treated to a truly royal sight – the stunning Sanssouci palace complex with its vast parks, fountains, and pavilions, the romantic Rococo palace, and the elegant Cecilienhof castle, where the famous Potsdam Conference took place in 1945. If you decide to stay in Berlin, there are plenty of experiences waiting for you here as well. Head to the Kreuzberg district – a vibrant and diverse part of the city where people from over 120 countries live. The streets are decorated with colorful street art, you’ll find unique flea markets on every corner, and the aromas of exotic foods will transport you to all the continents of the world. Whether you prefer castles and history or the modern rhythm of the big city – the choice is yours!
day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you still have a few hours for some last experiences in Berlin – and there’s definitely plenty to choose from! How about climbing up to the Reichstag terrace? The famous glass dome offers a stunning view of the entire city – the perfect finale to your Berlin adventure. Art and history lovers will be drawn to the renowned Museum Island, where you can admire iconic sights like the Pergamon Altar or the mysterious bust of Queen Nefertiti. And if you want to see the city from a completely different perspective, hop on a sightseeing boat and enjoy a peaceful cruise along the Spree River, where Berlin reveals itself in a whole new light. In the afternoon (around 16:28), we’ll head back to the Czech Republic, with our heads full of memories and maybe a little sadness that it’s over. But who knows – maybe you’ll be back in Berlin again soon!
