In the afternoon, arrival in Chartres for a visit to the magnificent cathedral, accommodation, optional dinner.
day 3
After breakfast, a tour of Rennes, a medieval town with many half-timbered houses, then departure to Carnac – a visit to the world’s most important prehistoric site, including three thousand menhirs, followed by a short trip to the interesting Quiberon peninsula with a brief stop in the town of the same name at its southern tip, accommodation in the area, optional dinner.
day 4
After breakfast, a coastal drive with a stop in the typically Breton town with a harbor Port Louis. Next stop at Pont Aven – the 'town of fourteen mills and fifteen houses,' which attracted many artists in the 19th century (P. Gaugin). Concarneau – a tour of another typical town featuring its main attraction – Ville Close – the walled city. Departure to Quimper – a town with a wonderful Breton atmosphere, famous for its pottery, numerous half-timbered houses in the 'old town,' and its cathedral; free time, accommodation, optional dinner.
day 5
After breakfast, travel along the wild, rugged coastline to the westernmost point, Point du Raz, perched up to 80 meters above the sea with breathtaking views of jagged cliffs and crashing waves. Then continue along the coastline dotted with typical Breton towns, including a stop in Locronan – known for its elegant Renaissance houses, charming chapel, calvary, and fountain. Next, drive through the d´Armorique National Park to Brittany's northern coast, check into your accommodation in the area, with an optional dinner.
day 6
After breakfast, depart for Saint Malo, the 'corsairs' city,' which owes its greatest development to the 16th and 17th centuries. Tour the town and castle featuring numerous historic buildings and fortifications. In the afternoon, head to Mont St. Michel – visit the unique fortified abbey, one of Normandy's symbols, dating back to the 10th century. Then travel to the landing area with a stop in Bayeux, home to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the famous 70-meter-long tapestry. Continue to your accommodation near Paris, with an optional dinner.
day 7
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Paris, free time on your own or a guided walking tour of the city center – Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Garden, the small Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Notre Dame… In the evening, departure to the Czech Republic.
