After breakfast, transfer to the royal necropolis in Giza on the outskirts of Cairo, home to the largest structures of ancient Egypt, including the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Khufu (visit to the pyramids from outside), one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Free time at the pyramids, lunch at a local restaurant, return to Cairo. Visit to the famous Egyptian Museum, free time, opportunity to visit the Khan el-Khalili market. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
day 3:
After breakfast, free time to explore the city individually or, for an extra charge, a trip to Alexandria: After an early breakfast, transfer by bus to Egypt's second largest city and important port - Alexandria. City tour including the Qaitbay Citadel resembling a sandcastle, the granite Pompey's Pillar, part of an ancient Roman complex and one of the oldest and tallest columns in the world, the Roman theatre, catacombs, the exterior of the Alexandria Library founded in the 4th century AD by Alexander the Great, and the Montazah Gardens by the royal palace. Lunch at a local restaurant, transfer back to the hotel, overnight stay.
day 4:
After breakfast, visit Saladin's Citadel, a medieval fortress built to protect against the Crusaders, towering over the city. Visit the Alabaster Mosque with its distinctive domes. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Return to the hotel, with an optional festive New Year's Eve gala dinner available for an extra charge. Overnight stay.
day 5:
After breakfast, transfer to the airport, flight with a connection to Prague. Arrival in Prague in the afternoon.
