Departure from Prague (with transfers) to the enchanting Rio de Janeiro, the city of samba, beautiful beaches, and a friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, a comfortable transfer to the hotel awaits you, where you will check in. The rest of the day can be enjoyed as you wish – resting after the journey or a first taste of Brazilian life. After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the day with a ride along the famous beaches and around the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas lake, where we will pass by the residence of the famous football club Flamengo. Next, we will stop at the legendary Maracanã stadium, where we will take a short walk around and soak in the atmosphere of the place where the history of world football was written.

Then we will move to the Cosme Velho station, from where we will set off on a historic train through the Tijuca tropical rainforest – the largest urban rainforest in the world. The journey to the top of Corcovado mountain takes about 20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding greenery.

At the top, we will find one of the most famous landmarks in South America – the statue of Christ the Redeemer. We will ascend to the famous 38-meter-high statue either by elevator and escalators or by stairs (222 steps). At the viewpoint, we will have plenty of time for photography and admiring the breathtaking panorama of Rio – we will see the southern neighborhoods of the city, the bay, and the distant city of Niterói.

After descending back, we will return to the hotel for the night.

The day you will never forget! You will experience the largest and most beautiful carnival in the world, which takes place at the legendary Sambodromo. Watch as thousands of dancers in beautiful, handcrafted costumes shine like real stars. Colors, music, rhythm, and joy – the carnival in Rio is truly a celebration of life.

Doporučujeme se projít podél pobřeží, ochutnat čerstvý kokos nebo místní specialitu açaí, nebo si jen užít koupání a výhled na oceán s horou Sugar Loaf v pozadí.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Urca district, where one of Rio's icons is located – Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar). We will take the cable car in two stages.

First, the cable car will take us to the top of Urca Hill at an altitude of 215 meters. From here, we will enjoy beautiful views of Guanabara Bay, its islands, the famous Rio–Niterói Bridge, and the distant peak of Corcovado with the statue of Christ.

Then we will transfer to the second cable car, which will take us to the very top of Sugarloaf Mountain at an altitude of 395 meters. From here, panoramic views of Copacabana Beach, Santa Cruz Fortress, and the coastline of the city of Niterói will open up before us.

After the tour, return to the hotel and overnight stay.

In the morning, you can use the time for individual relaxation or last walks. Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport and departure back to Rio de Janeiro, from where we will head home.
