day 1
Departure from the Czech Republic in the early morning hours. We travel around Mondsee and Salzburg to Hallein, where there is an opportunity to visit the salt mine that was the foundation of Salzburg's wealth. Then through Bischoffshofen, where we make a short stop for an individual tour of the town, whose church houses the famous Rupretikreuz dating back to the 8th century, we continue to the Rauris region. Accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
day 2
Breakfast. Via Pass Thurn we reach the Olympic town of Kitzbühel, with the option to take a cable car to nearby peaks. We continue to the highest waterfalls in Europe - the Krimml Waterfalls. There is an option to hike to the viewpoints at the waterfall (entrance fee not included in the tour price). Return to the accommodation in the evening. Free time. Dinner and overnight stay.
day 3
After breakfast, we will drive through Bruck an der Glocknerstrasse to reach the highest pass open to traffic in Europe, Grossglockner. We will travel along the high alpine scenic road through the pass with stops at Hochtor and Franz Josefs Hoehe, where you can enjoy stunning views of Austria's highest mountain, Grossglockner, and the Pastersee glacier. We continue to Heiligenblut to visit the pilgrimage church, which houses the most beautiful carved altar in Carinthia and the tomb of St. Brikcius. Next, we will stop in the town of Lienz, and on the way back to our accommodation, we will drive along the famous Felbertauernstrasse. Dinner and overnight stay.
day 4
After breakfast, we will depart for Werfen. There is an option to visit the largest ice cave in Europe, Riesenwelt, which extends through the rock massif of the High Tauern for up to 42 km. On the way back, a short stop in Salzburg. Return to the Czech Republic in the evening. Arrival in the late evening hours.
