Sri Lankan authorities have renewed valid from September 27, 2024 visa conditions for Czech citizens traveling to Sri Lanka. A visa can be obtained through the so-called electronic travel authorization (Electronic Travel Authorization, ETA) at the link Online Visa Application (eta.gov.lk) or upon arrival (so-called on arrival). However, Sri Lankan authorities recommend obtaining the authorization before traveling through the ETA system. Please note that there is limited capacity of immigration officers at the airport and long waiting times can be expected.
