Sri Lankan authorities have renewed with effect from September 27, 2024 visa conditions for Czech citizens traveling to Sri Lanka. A visa can be obtained as part of the so-called electronic travel authorization (Electronic Travel Authorization, ETA) at the link Online Visa Application (eta.gov.lk) or upon arrival (so-called on arrival). However, Sri Lankan authorities recommend obtaining the authorization before traveling through the ETA system. Please note that there is limited capacity of immigration officers at the airport and long waiting times can be expected.

Sri Lankan authorities uveřejnily 1. ledna 2023 Digital Arrival & Departure Portal (immigration.gov.lk), kde si cestující na Srí Lanku mohou tři dny před plánovanou cestou vyplnit příjezdovou kartu (arrival form). Některé aerolinie vyžadují vyplněný formulář při odbavení na letišti. Cestující by si měl u své letecké společnosti ověřit, zdali tento online formulář vyžaduje.
