For all trips to the Republic of Korea, it is necessary to fill out the K-ETA (electronic travel authorization) through the portal https://www.k-eta.go.kr/. Usually, processing this application takes about 72 hours, but we recommend that clients apply for K-ETA as soon as possible. When filling out the K-ETA, the arrival form, known as the ARRIVAL CARD (available for completion on board the plane), should not be required at passport control upon arrival. However, we strongly recommend that clients complete this form and present it at passport control, along with their travel documents. The validity of the K-ETA is 3 years. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from the country.

The use of certain facilities and activities may incur additional charges. Some services are dependent on the season and local climatic conditions.

A local tourist tax may be payable on site (mandatory). It is paid at the hotel upon arrival and its amount may change according to current regulations of local authorities.
