Bad Hofgastein je vhodný především pro milovníku carvingu a nenáročné lyžaře. Sportgastein je pro ty, kdo hledají freeride a vysokohorské sjezdy. Snowboardisté ocení 2 snowparky. Pro běžkaře je v okolí 106 km běžeckých tratí. V oblasti je možné využít dětský park, sáňkařské dráhy a večerní lyžování.
